What started as a project for David Kelley’s Advanced Creative Studies class at Stanford turned into a full-blown obsession. Since learning how to turn in February 2026, I’ve been churning out myriad woodworking projects made of walnut, maple, mahogany, and purple heart. No stock is safe.
Reflection
Making things with my hands is how I think. The craft eventually carried technology and storytelling through the Cutting E.D.G.E., but it started here.
