Hand-Turned Wooden Vessels
Hand-turned wooden vases made with lurve.
What started as a project for David Kelley’s Advanced Creative Studies class at Stanford turned into a full-blown obsession. Since learning how to turn in February 2026, I’ve been churning out vases made of walnut, maple, mahogany, and purple heart. No turning stock is safe.
Reflection
Making things with my hands is how I think. The craft eventually carried technology and storytelling through the Cutting E.D.G.E., but it started here.
